As a mechanical engineer, I found that steel structure requires special tools to fix equipments and pipes in the ceiling of steel structure, Especially that it's not recommended to weld any support to the steel beams. Also for most steel structures the distances between beams are very long and requires alot of work to fix mechanical services. It's worthy to mention that usually it requires to add flexibles in mechanical services to overcome the contraction and expansion of the building (this happenes if one floor containes bothe concrete slab and steel structure slab)
