CPVC pipes are a relatively low cost engineering material capable to withstand high glass transition temperature, high heat distortion temperature and smoke.

Use of CPVC is mostly found in industrial applications where a high functional temperature and resistance to corrosive chemicals are required. Besides pipe and fittings for homes, it is widely used in pumps, valves, strainers, filters, tower packing, as well as fabrication sheet of storage tanks, fume scrubbers and tank lining. Plumbing materials made from CPVC are non toxic with high tensile strength.

UPVC or better called as Rigid PVC is a low-maintenance material which is most often used in building industry. UPVC is available in range of colors and finishes and is used as an alternative for painted wood. It is also used for fascia and weatherboarding. It can also serve the traditional PVC roles in plumbing, waste pipes, gutters, and downpipes.
