Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Issued For Construction (IFC) & As Built Drawing
- engineering design
- material take off
- checking received quotation and information
- preparation technical bid evaluation for clients approval
- material requisition
In an EPC phase of projects, there are Five (5) phases of document submissions namely% Engineering Package,% Engineering Package,% Engineering Package, IFC (Issued for Construction) Package and As-Built Package. Each phase of documents quality and additional details may vary based on the progress of the projects.
The best practice in the EPC industry to handle engineering deliverables based on categorization by Engineering discipline-wise. Please refer the below list of categorization:
1. General Engineering Data, which contains the documents like Engg. Design Data, Project Schedule, Equipment List, etc.
2. Process Deliverables, which includes Process Design Philosophy, PFD, P&ID, Process Design Data, Process Equipment List, HMB, Utility List, Line List, etc.
3. Equipment/Mechanical Deliverables, which includes General Spec., GA Drawing, Datasheet, Material Requisistion, TBE Report, etc.
4. HSE Delievrables, which contains safety report, HAZID Report, HAZOP Report, Fire water related documents, Noise Map & Report, etc.
5. Civil Deliverables, whcih includes Civil design spec., Foundation drawing, Drainage details, Civil MTO, Steel Structure Drawings, etc.
6. Plant Layout Deliverables, which includes Plot Plant, Layout Design Spec., etc.
7. Piping Deliverables, which contains Piping Installation documents, Piping Stress Analysis documents, PMS, Material & Corrosion documents, etc.
8. Instrumentation & Control Deliverables, which includes Instrument Spec., Control Narrative, Functional Drawing, Instrument Wiring Diagram, Instrument Loop & Logic Diagram, etc.
9. Electrical Deliverables, which contains Elec. Design Spec., SLD, Cable Tray Layout, Elec. MTO, Cable List, Elec. Calculation, etc.
. Quality & Inspection Deliverables, which contains QA/QC Documents, Inspection & Test Plan of all Equipmens, etc.
I hope the above list of Engineering deliverables might be useful for all. If any correction on the same, please correct me.

Project's Job Procedure (ITP,QAP)
documentation process
four levels
Quality manual
Operational procedure sop
work instruction
Other documents including training report
There are four level in EPC 0 , 1 , 2 and 3
There are Four Levels of Documentation in an EPC:
Level 1 : Quality Manual - overview of the company, its products and services, scope and organization and its responsibilities
Level 2 : Quality Procedures - is the processes and interdepartmental controls that address the ISO 9001 requirements.
Level 3 : Work Instructions - mainly it explains the details of activities; how it should be performed. It includes plans, drawings, manuals, flow charts, product specifications and many more.
Level 4 : Other Documents - Forms, labels, tags, and other documents that prompt the recording of evidence of compliance to requirements.
When your company have these 4 levels of documentation, we can say that you have a good and decent documentation and procedure in your company.
