Conversion Rate (CR) is one of the most focal & imperative metric in e-commerce. It reveals the percentage of your site’s total traffic completing a specific goal. The higher the conversion rate the better.
'Specific goal' here refers to the successful completion of that action. It could be an email sign-up, creation of an account, completion of a survey, an app download and may not specifically be a purchase.
Hence CRO is the process of optimizing one's site to increase the likelihood that visitors will complete that specific action or goal.
I agree with Mr. Ashraf that one of the most common parameters of CRO is AB or multivariate testing. One of the recent survey which I was a part of had other parameters too which were of great significance as enlisted below:
I agree with Mr Mohamad ashraf answers, thanks for the invitation.
Agreed to Ashraf, adding to above will explain the same with an example.
Suppose we execute an online campaign and KPI is to get leads out of the campaign we are executing on any website say XYZ. We notice that the CPL is too high and we are looking forward for optimization of the campaign. Then in this scenario we need to get the channel performance of all the section and each creative we will be running on site and will try to analyse by getting internal report about which channel, section and creative is giving best result, once we have this data we can ask the ad ops to allocate more inventory to the channel /section / creative which are performing well and pause the non performing one. This will help in short term or ongoing campaign which you are running to acquire customer.
Thanks for invitation
I am agree with your answer my colleague’s Mr Mohammed Ashraf you gives us good answers
I agree with Mr. Ashraf's answer.
Conversion Rate Optimization ("CRO") in 2007 to describe the process of optimizing the business itself. It's really commercial optimization
A proper job of CRO includes the review of the entire process from the initial lead-generation ad, all the way through to the post-sale follow-up. The real goal is to identify which parts of the sales funnel will yield the greatest wins with the least work
When you direct your optimization efforts in reducing acquisition cost and retaining existing customers, you indirectly increase your website sales
Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) isn't only important for Ecommerce and transactional sites. Every site should have clear conversion paths to marketing outcomes which contribute to the business
