MCB means Miniature Circuit Breaker -- it is used for upto 100Amps & their trip characteristics may not be adjusted since they basically cater to low circuits.

MCCB menas Moulded case Circuit Breaker -- it is used for 100Amps to 1000Amps & comes with adjustable trip characteristics.

MCB's are installed for home use.  MCCB menas Moulded case Circuit Breaker -- it is used for 25oAmps to 1000Amps & comes with adjustable trip characteristics. MCCB generally installed for commercial or industrial purposes.

MCB’s can be checked directly by sverker but for MCCB’s not. For MCCB’s I need to combined sverker and ODEN to check or to test. MCB  stands for miniature circuit breaker and the MCCB stands for Moulded Case Circuit Breaker they are both a mechanical device that operate automatic operation, designed to connect and disconnect the electrical circuit in the ordinary and extraordinary situation. their main function is to protected equipments or circuits from overload or short circuit perhaps. MCB’s fixed average ampere rating is from6 Amp up to Amps while the MCCB’s the rated current amp is up to Amps or some maybe more than this. Both can be reseted back to the normal condition after the trip. MCB’s cannot be adjusted the ampere rating unlike the MCCB’s it can be adjusted.

MCB is thermal operated used for short circuit protection. Where MCCB is used for short circuit and overload protection.

MCB range is lower than MCCB.

MCB is a Miniature Circuit Breaker. It is used to break small currents like in domestic LT circuits. The ratings usually end up to 100 A. MCCB is a Moulded Case Circuit Breaker which has a rugged construction as it can break larger currents usually from 100A  to 1000A.
