I have experience in the Accounting Department for more than twenty four years, fourteen of which were in the United Arab Emirate where I worked in several companies and private schools. Over the course of these years, I was responsible for all the functions in the Accounting Department which included but not limited to:1. Compiling and analyzing financial information in order to prepare entries into the book of accounts and documenting business transactions.2. Reviewing invoices for accuracy, sorting documents by account name or number and processing invoices for payment.3. Performing duties associated with Accounts Payables/Receivables.4. Reconciling journal entries, ledger accounts such as Inventory and Payroll.5. Preparing financial statements (trial balance - trading accounts - operating accounts - the profit and loss account) as well as transferring monthly sales reports into Excel spread sheets for analysis.6. Managing expenditure, credit and payroll.7. Working with internal and external auditors on irregular financial issues as they may arise.
