Skin effect is a Phenomenon occurs when an AC current flow through a conductor, the current distributed around the cross sectional area near of the surface of the conductor so  there is no current flow in the middle of the conductor so the really used area by the current is less than the real area of the conductor. This effect is not exist with DC cuurent  so if we use the same conductor the values of the "DC&AC" will be as this equation "DC current =1.1 AC current

Skin changes are among the most visible signs of aging. Evidence of increasing age includes wrinkles and sagging skin. Whitening or graying of the hair is another obvious sign of aging.

Your skin does many things. It protects you from the environment, helps control your body temperature and fluid and electrolyte balance, and contains nerve receptors that allow you to feel sensations such as touch, pain, and pressure.

" When ac flows in a conductor, the current distribution is not uniform over the conductor cross-sectional area and the current density is greatest at the surface if the conductor. This behavior is known as SKIN EFFECT . at60Hz, the ac resistance is about2 percent higher than the dc resistance. "
