When you are applying for warehouse manager interview ; the kind of questions would be among two main questions categories.
1st category related to management experience as general like;
What are your biggest strong points ? ...& so on.
2nd category related to some technical warehouse management styles.( Inventory, Records, stock count,software programs like WMS ,ERP system &Oracle prog./max & Min stock ,Materials handling......)
that's as i think.
Thanks.
The role of a Warehouse Manager is essentially the same in most facilities. These employees are chiefly responsible for the smooth operation of a warehouse. This involves doing inventory, maintaining the facility’s equipment, and ensuring efficient dispatch of products from the warehouse. As manager, they’re also in charge of hiring, scheduling, coaching and monitoring staff.
Some common required hard skills and knowledge include knowing how to operate a forklift, how to handle hazardous materials, and awareness of Department of Transportation requirements. However, your industry might require more specific hard skills. Decide whether industry knowledge is more important than deep experience in warehouse management, then tailor your interview questions accordingly.
Finally, your candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a team. Use open-ended, situational, and behavioral interview questions to see how they might go about recruiting, coaching, and monitoring the work of their colleagues.
