Dye Penetrand Testing is a test carried out when you suspect the existence of non visible cracks in a Non Pourous material.

The test is carried out as following:

1)-Peoperly clean up the suspected part.

2)-A special dye of highly visible color is added to the part and let on for 10-20 minutes. Giving it time to seep in any non visible cracks.

3)-The dye is removed thoroughly from the surface.

4)-A developer is added to the surface of the part, drawing out the dye from any small cracks to form very visble indicators of the existence of cracks in the material.
