In destructive testing  mainly tensile test and guided bend test are mandatory requirement to qualify a welding procedure in mechanical field. Others test like charpy impact , macro eatching, nick break , hardness can be as additional test used in lab.

The most important DT is Tensile test - from this test you can find out70% of material mechanical properties

 

another important DT for welding are Impact test, Hardness test, Bending test and Corrosion test (for Duplex & alloys)

 

another DT tests for casted materials are Earing test, Fatigue test and Creep test (not important)
