Many thanks for a very creative but difficult question.

In fact, it is very difficult to answer that since there are many clever leaders in point and another new leader coming to the same point and how prove himself.

In my opinion, it is better idea to observe carefully other leaders and their activities, note their weak points, review their job description  and new leader  job description . Then based on the job description, corporate strategies  and other leaders weak points, try to strengthen the team skills  then the new leader has to start from that point till the organization achieves its full  development through diversified methods as per the situation of that organization. All organizations are not in the same situation or position ,  one organization to another organization  the rules, regulations or the working atmosphere  would not be the same.

This new leader needs to prove him/her self and get things done through tangible results for their department and have their teams fully motivated and competent.

Leadership is an inherent property  it cannot be inculcated .in other words leaders are born and not made.

He should show that he knows how to respect the people who have already been there in that organization. He should make them feel that he does not mean to compete with them: he is there to help the company soar to greater heights. The problem most of the times is that newcomers are seen as threats or competitors, which is wrong. People want to work for a certain company not for the sake of being rich but fro growing and helping the company grow too. It is with this that a new leader must inject the thinking that he is part of the team, that whatever correct policies or culture is already existing in the company will be retained, while whatever should be rectified will be corrected, all in the interest of the company and its clients.

Respect can take a person a long way. It is not enough that one possesses shiny or brilliant documents. What is important is that whatever knowledge or skills a person possesses, he/she shares it in a way that people find him/her engaging and not boastful or threatening. In addition, this new leader must exhibit his/her being a team player, that he and the rest of the leaders have one goal which is to make the company on the top. A good leader is respectful of himself and of others, therefore he is open-minded but grounded on conscientious principles.

He should do his job and if he really is a talented leader it will be evident in the results he achieves. He should also be wise enough to observe others around him and pick up on any innovations that he may be able to take on board. Know that he is new in the environment and surrounded by experienced people that are on the same team so get to know them and discuss ideas and learn and grow together. You will always get noticed more by being a team player and helping to lift the whole team up rather than looking for who you can beat or taking anyone else down.

An effective leader will standout among other leaders in the organisation through his own style of leadership qualities. We have millions of leaders on this earth, but only effective leaders are in thousands.

A new employee in any organisation need to please or prove himself at the first instance since it is his experience in that related field which speaks about him.

An experienced leader in such a case is always targeted to fall prey into ego clashes, modes of being superior to one another in terms of experience and so on in the corporate arena.

An experience leader has to do enough and thorough ground work of making his plans concrete in the betterment of the company considering the possible moves of the already existing clever and active leaders thereby trying to identify the detrimental effects if any arising while trying to execute his corporate moves towards excelling the objective or targets set.

Keeping the eyes and eyes wide open is the need of the day and any possible information through any sources trustworthy for that matter needs to be considered and taken into account in order to make a name in the corporate market thereby accelerating one selves to the future.

Experience coupled with tact and cleverness is the best way to fulfill and achieve the organisational goals by an experienced and an active leader.
