As a system administrator, you need to provide your routers with a Domain Name System (DNS) server. How many DNS servers can you specify with one command?

Yes, we can use multiple DNS server IP addresses on Router: I have tried up to 3

Here how one could assigned DHCP Server with DNS Settings on Cisco Router:

i.e. Router # ip dhcp pool ABC

                # default-router   [IP address of Switch's port connected with Router]

               # DNS-Server 192.168.1.2192.168.1.3192.168.1.4 (that's how we can put ips of multiple dns)

               # Network 192.168.1.0255.255.255.0

               # Exit

          # Exit

# wr

You can specify upto six DNS servers IP Addresses although I've used two practically. Here's the command to do so: #ip name-server server-address1 [server-address2 ... server-address6] PS: Please rate my reply here or forward queries if any by replying here.
