The answer is option (B):

"Sak" is an asset-based investment with variable profit while a "bond" is a debt-based financial paper with a fixed interest.

There is a main difference between a "Sak" and a "Bond". Bond is translated as سند  in Arabic and it refers to the interest bearing fixed amounts of loans that individuals give to the governments (government bonds) or to corporations (corporate bonds). Those bonds are not allowed in Islam because they fall under Riba lending / borrowing.

Whereas "Sak" is a singular word صك and the plural is Sukuk صكوك and this refers to investments in specific projects lead by an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) which is a company formed to run a specific asset-based project. The profits distributed to the Sukuk holders are not fixed, but they depend on the profitability of the project and each Sak holder gets a specific percentage of the net profit.
