Where should we place the circuit breaker first? generating station, transformer, or transmission line?

Generator, side, Sub Stations and sure in grid station if you are talikng about large power stations.

Circuit Breakers are placed in all the avove places.

1.       GCB (Generator Curcuit Breaker) is placed next to generator. This breaker is generally used for gen synchronization

 

2.       Circuit Breaker is placed, before all the transformers / in bus coupler / before all transmission lines.

 

3.       Circuit Breaker is used to protect major equipmets ie., transformer / generator / motor / transmission line

as this question has been asked to me .

i need only ine answer either tranformer , generator etc

after Generation power  1st installed C.B than give the supply to transformer either we use step up or step down than another C.B installed after that transmit power through transmission line or direct give the supply different feeders.......
