This varies on what you want to automate and the provider being used. Mostly wants Wireless Solutions since it more convenient to use but in regards with reviews wireless automation sometimes cause conflict and had issues. Even though, users still preffer Wireless.

I apologize for the answer I leave the answer specialists experts in the field that's not my area.
It depends on what you want to automate. Your router, modem, server must be cabled, camera cabled for better data transfer. Lamps, AC, shades, etc. wireless.
Good luck
I would like combined system. It is easy.
Because need some wireless and wired connection. but i prepare wired one is the best because faster basis.
I would like to work with the combined system og both wired and wireless and I know its not very high end technology to work with but still, i think its easy to debug...
It depends on what you want to control, what budget you have and what kind of project you have (already built or in a project fase). If you don't want any major work to be done and if it is just for a tew functions like a home cinema, controling some lights and curtains, than radio may be your best choise. Be aware that the baterys may need to be replaced in some systems and it may be limited to some funtions. If you are building a new house in a project fase, I would go for a wired solution for sure. More reliable and much more functions are possible to integrate. Hope it helps
i prefer to work with a combination of them
A company called Mia Casa Verds makes several modems that communicate with a variety of automation networks includeing z-wave, zigbee, x10, insteon, and others. Smarthome and Homeseer are good software packages to use.
