Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with above quote. Life can be so cruel sometimes; it can crush us brutally, can shatter all our hopes invested in a project so dear to us. But being “The Crown of Creation”, we’ve to show our worth. We’ve to stand on our feet again and fight back thinking “Come what may!” We’ve to revive the strength and power that resides within us all, lifting us out of the gloom and into the light. Having hope propels us to achieve our dreams and drives us forward towards our pursuits. It also keeps us afloat when everything seems to go wrong, when we feel that we’re drowning. Hope is the light at the end of the tunnel, the northern star by which we navigate our lives through trials and tribulations towards our dream of a better day. When we lose hope, we are like a rudderless ship being tossed about without direction. Having and finding hope, then, is essential for keeping our dreams alive and continuing to sail in the direction of their attainment.
I would like to share a lovely poem to better elucidate my viewpoint.
Endure Like A Tree
To get through life you have to endure as a tree does.
When Mother Nature tries to bring you down,
You will never fall; you will stand your ground.
You will encounter burning flames.
Yes, it will be painful and hard,
But once it’s over and done with,
Your bark will grow back stronger than ever.
When your leaves start to slowly leave,
Never fret, there will be more to take their place.
They’ll come and go throughout your life,
That’s just how it is.
From the time you’re a seedling to the time you’re mature,
Your roots will always be there to support you.
After many years,
After enduring forest fires and changing leaves,
Your own saplings will fall away to start anew.
Then you’ll know not to worry,
They’ll grow into tall, strong trees,
Just like those before you.
I did exactly that, after 22 years with the same employer my personal values and goals changed and no longer matched the organisation. The job was okay and paid well so it was easy to just stay and let time pass by being complacent. There can be fear to cut ties to something you have been attached to for so long when you don't know what the future holds. Sometimes it takes an event in life to open our eyes or force us out of a bad situation and close old doors so that new ones can open. In the end you have to take a chance or a leap of faith to make a change in life and there is no right or wrong time its whenever Allah has bigger plans for us.
A wonderful question as usual Ms. Farhana and many wonderful answers are already herein. Thank you so much for a wise advice. Keep inspiring .
Blessings
Thanks for invitation
Fully agree with this statement ...
Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.
Definitely I agree with this quote.......From beauty tip to an expert career advice we all have a specific mantra for each and every situation that life throws us in. Even we acquire our unique personality as a result of constant endeavor to harness the goodness. We all know that there is nothing like a ‘right time’ or ‘right age’ to bring a positive change in life.
Im very hapy to anqwer you question ms Farhana
I agree
Always think positively to succeed to achieve a good result
Thanks for the invitation. I totally agree. Life is ups and downs and if stop trying we will never move at any direction.
Positive+ throughts are like an engry that
make a person more active and motivated.
I agree with the above quotation
Thank You for Invitation dear Farhana Siddique Fari .
Yes. I very much agree. Why? No one can bring back what happened in the past. There is no remote control to rewind the events that happened yesterday or in the days past. On the other hand, the future isn't predictable. No one knows what the future holds. Therefore, you should focus on today. If there is an event when you should spend your energy on, that's today, now. After all, what you do today will dictate/affect what will happen in the future or tomorrow. Plus, if you won't do what you know should be done now, you will only regret the more in the future.
Focus on today. Yesterday is a thing of the past, but you should never forget the lessons you have learned from your experiences. Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow isn't here yet. What counts is what you do today, this moment, because if you won't do what is right, you will only regret that you didn't act upon what should've been, and in the future how you can only wish that the past can be brought back.
