You must listen, not just hear them, but truly listen. 

Smile, Make the customer feel welcome, listen patiently to customer.

The entire body language should spontaneously express excitement on meeting the customer, similar to my excitement to receive a 2 yrs old Bayt friend for the first time. 

Well, first eye contact ,then greet with a warm smile. Your positivity will automatically reflect in your personality! ð
