Hello sir, I would like to ask you about planning. I used to hear about master plan, is it a kind of strategic plan or not? thanks

When we say the master plan, we may refer to the baseline, which presents the designed plan (revision zero) to measure the performance of a project.

Yes, it is a kind of Strategic Planning ang it mainly focuses on building a current scenario based on past data of development in different sectors and then recommending a future plan for next 20 years to support or accommodate future development or simply to guide future development

Planning is actually the development of an agenda, forms and/or processes to actualize a vision, an objective or aims,dreams or purpose.In other words, planning is simply a process to produce a plan that can be used to produce or execute a project. Master Plan means an overall strategy that contains some subsets of others toward actualizing a vision, like the Master plan for a Stadium construction. There are basically two types of planning. One is called project planning(one-off, only once and not repeated) and the second is strategic planning which is not one-off but an organizational plan(Master plan) or direction or way/process of doing their businesses that will guarantee the actualization of both their immediate and long term target and objectives.
