Motivational factors differ from one individual to the other.. but in an organization there should be emphasis on many factors so that the motivation of all the teams is achieved. usually motivation is also contagious if a team member is very motivated the other team members will be motivated as well. motivational factors are not always compensation even though its very important to motivate, but career development, recognition, training and socializing and breaking the glass between staff are very motivational. for me sometimes taking on challenging tasks or new tasks to learn from is very motivational at work.
