Hi Dear, The candidate is being interviewed after his resume complied with the requirements.
Accordingly, you have identified the candidate, and now interviewing him.
So how do you pick the right one? I would really refer you to the correspondence you started with the candidate through e-mails if available, because the correspondence itself allows for basic analysis of the candidate.
Is the candidate interested in the role? Is he or she responsive to our e-mails? Does the candidate take the time to proofread a response? If so, this person is a viable candidate and ready for the next step.
Next step would be called "In person interview": is the candidate a culture fit? then you ask detailed questions about the candidate’s background, work experience and skill sets to determine if the person is a good fit for the role.
etc...
That is the correct way.
Regarding the first view..
It depends on the job description, however, if it was a secretary work, physical appearance and look would be the first view.
Regards, Ali Khaireddine Executive Assistant
