In KSA for almost 15 years earning a decent remuneration..Is it a wise decision to move to any gulf countries in exchange of a little freedom?

As a family executive, we are considering any Gulf countries for a change of environment. Though we are traveling yearly or twice, it came to our thoughts why not look for a new job outside Saudi Arabia...in a multi-national company where we can see ourselves retiring with (I'm a middle-age right hand of my COO for nearly15 years). I'm thinking like its time to find a new challenge in life..

There are many things that can drive you from Saudi Arabia, and many others that can keep you there.

one thing for sure, you can't compare Dubai to KSA, as Dubai is the ultra modren city on every scale.

though I am a committed Muslim, personally, I don't see me ever living in KSA, unliss am living in a7 stars compound, and even then, it wont be an easy decision.

Yes. is the answer to your question, but only if you can find something that would be better or would match your current situation.

All the best.

Marhaba Omayyah,

Your first sentence is a very smart and articulate start.

Ultra modern...definitely I agree with you. Been to Dubai and UAE most of the time and I myself can clearly feel and see the big difference.

The third sentence is quiet a challenge yet I consider a plus for me as far as flexibility is concern. I'm a Muslim and I love Saudi Arabia and so blessed to have the opportunity to frequently travel around gulf countries.

You hit the spot with your conclusive ending. The problem is that Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait offers a quiet belt-tightening pay compared to Saudi's generous and flamboyant packages.

Thank you Omayyah.
