Is it possible to uninstall IE, I not found in add/remove program list.
Microsoft Internet Explorer is a program that is a part of Windows, so it is not quite as easy to uninstall as other third-party programs. There is no way to completely remove all components of Internet Explorer from your computer since many programs rely on Internet Explorer to function properly. Underlying components will still be on the computer, but the executable file for running Internet Explorer itself will be removed, which prevents the browser from running.

Make sure you know what you are going to do. If you remove internet explorer then you will be required to install a third party browser like Firefox and Chrome to open even HTML based readme files.

Because Internet Explorer is a Windows feature, you can't uninstall it, but you can turn it off. Here's how:
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap or click Search (if you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, and move the mouse pointer down , and then click Search).
Enter Windows features in the search box, tap or click Settings, and then tap or click Turn Windows features on or off.
In the Windows Features dialog box, clear the Internet Explorer 10 check box.
