Reactive is when the machine is already broken and cannot be planned because it is unpredictable, corrective is when the machine is still working but not properly, in this case it is possible to plan the maintenance

Corrective maintenance is a maintenance task performed to identify, isolate, and rectify a fault so that the failed equipment.

Corrective maintenance is when you fix a fault in a system that is still running within acceptable ranges but is noticeably deteriorating quickly or nearing unsafe operation. eg, replacing a partially exposed wire/ twitchy sensor.
