The are indeed many ways to motivate staff. However it is important to note that what motivate one staff is not necessarily going to motivate another staff. as a supervisor or manager you ought to know your staff well to motivate them as they have different needs. Employees want job security, they should not live with fear that one day they would be sacked without any good reason. They also want job development through training, synergy, promotions/salary increment, good staff welfare like good medical arrangement , sports, end of year staff party, be treated as impotant part of the organization.
