Well we dont get the ideal employess all the times. To me, both are good options & as manager/leader its our responsibility  to coach them on the grey areas & our pure intent must be of giving/helping instead of getting results/numbers/targets. It works brother & i do practise this & as a result 3 people whom i choose as a self challenge were at the edge of loosing their jobs & turned in to top performers.. l

In most cases, it's generally preferable to choose the individual who follows processes/protocols. While meeting targets is important, adherence to processes ensures consistency, quality, and compliance with regulations or standards. Over time, this approach can lead to sustainable success and minimize risks associated with shortcuts or disregard for established procedures. Additionally, individuals who follow processes are often more adaptable and open to improvement, which can contribute to long-term growth and success for the organization.
