In MS Excel if one cell contains text and other number, then they can be added together in 3rd cell by using ampersand sign; and use parenthesis for giving space.
A1= Number
A2= 1234
A3= Number 1234 (formula =A1& " "&A2)

Let's say
A1 = "my date of birth is"
A2 = "20/08/1985"
so you need a result of in one cell A3 = "my date of birth is 20/08/1985"
=A1&" "&TEXT(A2,"dd/mm/yyyy")
