My brother gave me a personal 6 sign blank cheque as my share in the family business. Should there be a written contract?

The case is going on in sharjah courts and final judgement is onth june.

All the funds under his name. what happens after the criminal case is over.

I would like to ask what kind of criminal case is gettting adjudicated  as you mentioned with out details?

Always there should be a reason to issuing a check to any one and the legal liability should exist as well.

Further you need to provide more details and need to clear in what is that advise you wanted to seek here please? Thanks.

Yes. The contract shall establish when each check can be cashed, if at all. Explain if those checks are a guarantee for what.  in other words everything shall be clearly written and explain the why, what, when and how the share in the family businees shall operate.

Any engagement related to business , needs to be formal whoever are the parties .

So they must sign a type of contract / agreement .
