Is it the advertisement at the local paper, advice of a friend who has already used the product or at the bidding of the sales rep at the supermarket.
in my point of view ,,,, a professional sales representative can sell a product of not high quality
by smart way of presenting the advantage and the selling point correctely
Dear Subhranshu Ganguly ,
let's agree on somthing there is no product for every one , but there is a product for spacific group and that Group maybe has the same attitude , behavior, level of education, the same place...ect.
so it's the same there is no a spacific factor affectin the product . as maybe pricing stratrgy affecting , maybe Ads, maybe the history of the company, maybe the BAD word of mouth(bad repetetion), maybe user experience on the spot ...ect
I believe it depends on the marketing strategy as if we take Mobile phones as example , we can think that the high price product can affect badly on its sales but actually it might be the opposite , as the high price may translate the product positioning.
back to the specific group , the high price mobile phones group - after a lot of surveys - researchers found that if you provide mobile phone with high quality and low prices this group would not buy it, as they consider themself special buy owned the high price products or phones.
finally as I mentioned above it's irrelevant , so to know what is the factor that affect the product you should go for mystery shopping, or doing surveys/ focus groups, and before that we should know the customer/ consumer behavior to reduce the problems in the future
Depends on the segment the company targete and the modes used to influence their awareness. You can only rely on advertisements today for products such as mobile phones.
