Agree to Feras's answer . Adding lil more details , coming April2014 there won't be any support for Windows XP , so it would be mandate to upgrade to Windows7. And I think majority, presently it's divided between Windows XP and7 . Servers I think Windows2008 R2(IIS) and Linux(Apache) , where Linux would have much more share as (PHP,PERL, J2EE,MySQL) would be used more than (.NET,SQL Server).

In Software QA , they would be having all O/S to test websites , apps.
