Regular adjusted doses of NSAID are not harmful for the healthy kidneys, however, more frequent doses may induce renal function impairments. Adverse effect may extend from fluid retention, electrolyte irregularities (hyperkalemia) to more sever effects as Nephrotic syndrome with interstitial nephritis (Rare) or Papillary necrosis (very rare).

Rational prescribing and dispensing with proper counseling, is the golden role to avoid of minimize NSAID ADRs.
