The torque produced by Diesel engines are higher. Diesel engines are mainly used in big vehicles for example loaded trucks and also in some cars. there efficiency is also higher than petrol engines.

  • More usable energy can be extracted out of diesel than out of petrol, hence more efficient engines.
  • Because of the way it burns fuel, a diesel engine provides far more torque to the driveshaft than does a gasoline engine. therefore heavy vehicles can pull load easily.
