How can we characterize polymers and composites?

We characterize polymers and composite materials characterization techniques ie properties such as (cratering Optical, Mechanical, Rheological and Morphological) that are measured with the help of laboratory equipment as (Mechanical Traction, Infrared IR for constitution, X-ray diffraction for crystallinity SEM for surface condition has microscopic scale ..... ETC), finally all these techniques can allow to produce sophisticated high technology and advanced technology materials will satisfy the market demand.

The Characterization of polymers can be done by DSC, TGA, FTIR, Melting Point , MFI, Burn Test, Density mesurement and for composte we can use UTM, Izod Imact Test , and FTIR

Polymers can be characterized by their physico chemical properties like molecular weight, amorphous or crystalline nature, chemical structure and various other parameters like tacticity. Analytical techniques like IR, GPC, Nuclear magnetic resonance (proton NMR, 13C NMR etc.), X ray diffraction can be used to characterize the polymers. Optical properties can be studied using techniques like circular dichroism and mechanical and rheological properties can be measured using appropriate equipments like tensile strenght tester, rheometer etc.

It depends on what are you looking for. There are thermal characterization in which you use DSC, TGA and DMA. Morphological characterization in which you use either TEM or SEM. And finally, the mechanical characterization and it include micro and nano- characterization.
