With new cutting-edge technology and IT looking as a commodity rather than a business-driver, what is the future of IT professionals out there? The Cloud Computing technology is growing so fast, and it is more and more attracting the small and medium organizations for the tremendous advantage and the cost reduction. But, it also has many limits and challenges like security and privacy. The new IT grads must improve their knowledge in this field because this technology will change the traditional IT and come with new requirements, needs and opportunities.
Despite its disadvantages and the fact that it is still in an infant age, cloud computing remains strong and has great potential for the future. Its user base grows constantly and more big players are attracted to it, offering better and more fine tuned services and solutions. We can only hope that the advantages will further grow and the disadvantages will be mitigated, since cloud computing seems to have made IT a little bit easier
