VMWARE
Hyper-v is Good choise ,it free with windows server, and easy to maintan and backup and export.
We had used Citrix Xencentre for3 years and now shifting to Microsoft HyperV to cut down on the overall cost and for hardware compatibility.

hyper-v
VMWARE , Microsofts HyperV is no where near citrix and VMware except pricing offers.
I've used all three VMWare, Hyper-V and Xen. It depends on the requirement and budgets of organizations.
For Windows intensive environment Hyper-V is best. For linux servers VMWare is best. For desktop virtualization Citrix Xen is better choice. But VMWare is "all in one" and generally know as best solution.
