What is the difference between a 33kva and 11kva power line?

33 kva is classified as high voltage line , this is used for transmition lines and 11 kva is distrubution lines which is connected to the demand side of the electrical network

Some differences are:-

  1. In 33 kVA line the poles used are higher than 11 kVA line.
  2. Conductor sizes are also different.
  3. Area of Magnetic influence is greater in 33 kVA line.
  4. Transmission losses are lower in 33 kVA line.
  5. Insulator types used are also different.
