Reading any book related to a topic you're interested in will surely enrich your vocabulary and widen your comprehension. With that said, I'd strongly recommend doing that under direct or indirect supervision. By which i mean, you have to have an expert within your reach whenever you need a point to be clarified a you cannot afford misunderstanding a certain paragraph and construct all what flows on wrong basis.

Yes ofcourse. Reading science book helps. If you had gone through a big theory , could help with some advance terms and knowledge. On the other hand one can derive logical facts through certain interactive scientific problems.either way we get benefited.

Of course it would. Nothing is better than reading and learning about science in a different language. Not only does reading science books improve and develop your comprehension skills, it also enriches your knowledge. I'm currently in love with astronomy and I have started reading books and watching documentaries about it. It's a pity we don't have many books about this subject in Arabic.
