Identity Management can be seen as a superset of Access management as it includes the Identification of Individuals via a myriad of modalities, conducting background checks, developing systems, controls and processes for Managing Person Identity and so on.

Identity Management is an interesting space today, given the huge security challenges facing countries worldwide. There is however great hope given the new technologies constantly being developed to offer seamless, secure and trusted solutions to complex problems.
