As Built drawings are very important after completion of executed site works because:

1. It helps in finding correct route and location of any MEP/Electromechanical services for future maintainance purpose.

2. It will be helpful for Rectifying the faults which may occur in future.

3. It serve as official records for Clients/Consultants/Municipal/Electricity Boards etc,

4. It will be helpful for Operation and maintainance manual.

As built drawings are important for at least two primary purposes : First, they are a record from which future system changes and/or additions can be designed.

Second, the as built drawings can be a valuable tool for the O&M staff.
