what is the Best Routing
1.Default Routing
2.Static Routing
3.Dynamic Routing
The best routing is Static Routing though it is safe and dont use much bandwidth. Static rouing is sutable for small organisation
this is Purely based How your requiremnet is
if you have single device and only one exit point, Default route is sufficient to your requiremnt
if you have two exit point and very less L3 device , I mean two or three then no need to go for dynamic route , best to use static .
If your enterprise is very big then using def route and static is blunder.
these 3 has differnat use, dynamic
Static Routing is best because of the distance metric value which is 1 in any case. But ofcourse it could be a difficult task to handle in a lage infrastructure.
Static routing performs routing decisions with preconfigured routes in the routing table, which can be changed manually only by administrators. Static routes are normally implemented in those situations where the choices in route selection are limited, or there is only a single default route available. Also, static routing can be used if you have only few devices for route configuration and there is no need for route change in the future
Static routing is the best routing protocol and safe also .
Dynamic routing is the best of the three in terms of time management and it will choose the best path and not limited to a small area of networks.
Best routing method depends on the type of network implementation. For small networks static routing is best. However for large networks static routing is not good and imposes heavyadministration. So Dynamic routing protocols like OSPF and EIGRP are well suitable for large networks.
Dynamic routing protocols help the network administrator manage the time-consuming and exacting process of configuring and maintaining static routes.
The Best routing protocol is Dynamic for Network impletmenting in a large network organisation while Static is also important for learner to have basic knowledge of network concept for small networks organisation.
