Is lean recruitment the new mantra?

In today's high paced recruitment environment, with companies putting stress on stringent deadlines, high volumes and higher conversion ratios, do you think Lean Recruitment is the name of the game? How many of you have had sucess or tried to implement it in your companies?

I agree with this statement. nowaday, quality is in everything. and lean management is one of the quality techniques. Business process engineering and eliminating unuseful processes in recruitment processes and procedures is very important.

Trying to attract big number of candidates than needed is wasting time and resources without value as well as keeping old CV banks in your data base is just wasting of time and mostly when needed they will not be relevant.

Applying the Japanese JIT lean methodology in recruitment will definitely add value. Personally, I have tried to apply it before yet I have been less experience and I think was not effeciently implemented, many areas if I repeat it will do it differently. Yet, now, I believe I will try again as I am obssessed with continuous improvement.
