You can use screening option from plot dialog you can change color of printing and the linetype and weight without change in the original drawings (So you can manage the layer from it's color or linetype by making it WHITE during print)
other thing you can turn off layer
In layer properties manager there is three options
1 turn off/on
2 freezw/thaw
3 lock/unlock
choose freeze option for layer which you want to hide from plotting ( Turn off also can be used)
I will turn the layer off from the layers bar at top of screen and continue my work
- The prevent layers used using the plotters for plotting provides the layer manager that allow easy options to customize the application. - The layers used in layer manager have specific options like:- Turning off the layers- Freezing the layers- Turning off the layers for plotting- Layers used in the plotting remain visible on the screen and doesn’t provide the output to the printer. - Individual layers can also be set up in specific viewports that allows drawing of the layers that contains the systems applications and options. - It uses the viewport concept that allows the different layers to be frozen on the view port and this way it can be hidden from other layers.
You must change the layer's proprieties.
You can hide or freeze the specific layers, or turn off there plotting propriety.
use command "LAYOFF" (layer off)
