How can I hide the a specific layer when plotting in Autocad?

1) select any line of the layer

2) then scroll the list from ''by layer'' menu

3) Click the ''lock'' (lock shaped) icon in the down list

4) layer is hidden

5) to lock again select the same ''lock'' icon

1. select object from that layer . 

2. from the "by layer " menu , scroll to find " lock " option .

3. Activiate it . 

4. congratulatin the layer is hidden

Go to layers select the layer you want to hide turn off printer sign it will show red cross on it .. now this certain layer will not be printed
