Why do students find mathematics difficult?

Actually they somehow get the thing in mind that 'mathematics is very difficult ' it's like a wild horse. but not. A good trainer can tame any wild horse.

The origin of mathematics is philosophy .Hence mathematics based on idea ,concept and operation .We can say mathematics is language of logic .so to learn mathematics student need skill idea concept and operation which make mathematics very easy otherwise it will be go hard.

Actually, we the teachers make it difficult. If we can inspire our students to learn mathematics then they will enjoy mathematics. However, there are other factors also such as physical, mental, psychological, cultural, and environmental deficiencies, make the mathematics difficult also.

 

the school book is not help them by giving them more exercises as the other books , and if you see that the exams will be given its questions from Elmoaser and the other books , the school book  not present more training for them so that math is a problem for them.

Stuents are not spending time in working out matematical problems. Instead of doing mathematical problems students are reading it.

1) Lack of Interest

2) Having predetermined opinion forming that it is difficult

3) Because of word of mouth by others that it is a very difficult subject.

4) Lack of practice

5) As it cannot memorize by mugging up like any other theoretical subject can.

Math is fun when your basic foundations are strong. If you don't understand the order of operations or simple algebaric rules such as what is the diference between X^2 + X^2 + X^2  and X^2 * X^2 * X^2 then math is too far from being fun. So the rule is to strengthen your basics and then to enjoy it.
