They are:

1- enjoys solid integrity (honest, trustable, respectful, fulfills promises, admits faults...).

2- confident (does not care about personal image over actual achievement... i.e., cares about substance, not symbols).

3- cares about people sincerely (not just a show of caring!).

4- brings new things all the time; excites people and motivates them through his future outlook.

there are numerous other traits and qualities that are essential for leaders to have but the above are the most important ones to me (I feel).

A leader needs to be trusted and be known to live their life with honesty and integrity. A good leader “walks the talk” and in doing so earns the right to have responsibility for others. True authority is born from respect for the good character and trustworthiness of the person who leads.

  • Emotional stability. Good leaders must be able to tolerate frustration and stress. ...
  • Dominance. ...

  • Social boldness. ...
  • Tough-mindedness. ...
  • Self-assurance. ...
