Do you find support from your organization for your innovative ideas?

Innovative ideas are one of the most effective ways of taking a company forward and evolving it. However, not all industries and/or companies within an industry are ready for innovation. Some companies have well-established operating systems which are hard to manuevre, so, in order to keep things rolling, they prefer to sacrifice innovation, so that everything works the way it already does.

Innovation comes with some risk (small or big, depends really) and not everyone are risk-takers or willing to listen to an idea that came from below.

Personally, although I strongly support innovation within an organization, I haven't found any support in this endeavour. Normally however, innovation is fundamentally the key to evolution and evolution normally leads to success.
