Trickle Charging : Battery is charged (when normal AC supply is available) to make up for the internal battery losses and keep battery charged to its full level.
Float voltage does the trickle charging. Both are same.
Boost charging is done (applying boost voltage) when battery is drained and battery needs to be charged while supplying the DC loads as well.
If we are charging the charged battery on no load, its called trickle charging. If a battery is getting charged on boast voltage which could be for 48 V system 48.5 V DC. Also if a battery is getting charged on boast volt normally is done when batteries are discharged more than 30% is called boast charged. For 48V sysstem its 54.0 V DC.
