Messages that are “played” to the public without them being aware of it. The message may be a visual ‘flash’ in a series of other pictures that you don’t consciously pick up on but your subconscious registers the image.

They can be found in cartoons and movies, music videos and even political campaigns.

My concern is; Artists are the ones who include the subliminal messages in the media, does it mean they will be immune to it or less susceptible to subliminal messages?

There are many ways to put subliminal message in media. One of them is in logo itself, for example Fedex, it has an arrow. Another way is using a celebrity or social media influencer because they can "tell you" that the product or service is good just by words. Slogans as well can have subliminal messages so there are many ways to put subliminal message in the media

subliminal messages are found almost everywhere, from Disney production to regular movie advertising, though I studied NLP I still cant find a profound link to the effectiveness of subliminal messages however since its not rejected as effective people still use it just in case

Sub in Subliminal means "below". SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES in Media are targeted to intrude the subconscious ports of the brain which are constructed in such a creative way that once feeded inside the receptors, the brain reacts instantly even when it's not in the conscious state. Subliminal messages in Media are mainly used to boost the sales of a product or to increase the viewership. They are generally presented in a way which is not legally and ethically offensive to a normal mind but if observed carefully, are quite not socially acceptable. So the purpose of designing the messages in a hidden manner is to promote the brand by targetting a particuar age group so as to attract more consumers/viewers towards that product. Examples are: McDonald's, Burger King and various cartoon shows. Infact, Disney is extremely controversial in their subliminal advertising because they target children and children are extremely receptive to whatever they see, and hence observe.

There is nothing wrong in hidden messages in the logos unless there is an intension to decieve or mislead the audience. However, they are a major reason to rise the number of consumers/viewers of the product generated.

Advertising is based on afecting the psychology of people affecting the masses, by sending a message to the subconscious. Those ways are still used these days. Example: here in Lebanon when you want to have a soft drink and reach a place to buy it, there are two famous brands cocal cloa and pepsi. we pick pepsi without even thinking about it. why ? There subliminal messages in there ads, the phrases they pick like (now) and the consistency or repeating there ads on tv on billboards in every way possible. This will indeed affects our decision in picking there product to buy.
