What is the minimum age for someone to promote products on social media?

I'll say 18+ because by that time the person has enough experience in life and the preference of said product is based on a practical foundation from adult life experiences. Someone younger is not trained to make adult decisions therefore can not only be exploited but also cross the line between promotion and false advertisement. Every interaction has accountability and to take that, one must be an adult.

Whether a child or adult at any age whoever has the skill in:

Speak tactfully

Drawing attention

Description style features

Impressed with the product

There is no minimum or Maximum age for someone to promote products on social media.

Either you are Kid of two years old or years old person.Just learn to use social media & get business idea.You are all set to go.

(But below years of age certain social media needs parental permission & for Bank accounts  one has to be years of age is required )

The minimum age criteria to sign up on a social media account varies from website to website. Age criteria for some of the applications/social media portals are:

Facebook: 13 years

Whatsapp: 16 years

Vine:  17 Years

Youtube:  18 years

WeChat:  18 years

However, kids who age between 13-17 can signup with parent's permission. But sometime kids wrongly mention their age and set up their account. So, if someone wants to promote the product on social media, he/she should be of age as written on the portal.
