you have only cah20$ from your sale.

I totally surprise by the answers given by highly qualified gentlemen's who are working as professionals. I know its a tricky question but still. Any way the right answer is $100 loss to the shopkeeper. $80 worth cash and $20 worth of goods =$100. (How $80 ? As he kept $20 after giving back $80 to the lady. He needed his own $80 to add with $20 to refund the another shopkeeper. And remaining $20 worth of goods)

100$, but there is no loss in respect of goods sold as goods in kind became cash. Eay to understand, if you assume you had only100$ before sale of good.
