Total loss is $100
Cash $80 & Goods $20
180
100$, but there is no loss in respect of goods sold as goods in kind became cash. Eay to understand, if you assume you had only100$ before sale of good.
-100:20 (WHATE HE TOOK FROM THE LADY AGAINST GOODS: PAID- GOODS PRICE+PROFIT(0)=0)
-100(WHATE HE RETURNED BACK TO THE NEXT SHOOPKEEPER)
$200 Loss for the Shopkeeper....
=$100 returnred to other shopman+ $80 returned to the lady + $20 for the goods sold
100$
Goods costing80$ and20$ cash paid to her.
The money which was given to other shopkeeper i.e.100$ is actual loss.
$100 is the net loss , poor guy !
