Days between two dates : use (-) formula
Week days between two dates : use (networkdays) formula
You can do it with excell by doing the following:
1. enter old date at one cell.
2. enter the newest date at another cell.
3. minus the old date from the newest date and you will get the difference in dates.
date
use the datediff function
you can use exel sheet to calculate te difference between two days
write the beging day in the cell and write the ending day in the near cell by the same date formula and subtacts one from two you can find the result by days
=datedif(beging day,ending day,"d")
this formula calculate all date
but
you can use NETWORKDAYS.INTL formula to calculate just worke days between tow date
NETWORKDAYS.INTL(Start Date,End Date,[Weekend],[Holidays])
not this formula in Excel2010
Deduct current date from the previous date
Format will be . Month / Date / Year
12/31/2013 -12/31/2012 =365 Days
Use Datedif formula, this is excel's hidden formula. =datedif(<date1>,<date2>,"D")
